When Jessica & Gavin booked me to capture their special day I was beyond excited. We had the opportunity to do a pre-wedding session before the day, which helped us to get to know each other & catch up before the big day.
On the morning of the wedding my assistant Sadie Carter and I arrived early & managed to take a few photos of Aston Hall while the car park was still empty. Jessica & the girls where getting ready & we had lots of time to photograph all those details and natural moments along with a few group photos with her girls & parents. The Men arrived looking smart & ready for the day.
Then it was time for the ‘I DO’s’….
When it came to the family photos we had a little downpour of rain but Jessica & Gavin didn’t let anything phase them. We used the Bandstand to keep them dry (Me and Sadie didn’t mind standing in the rain – of course it comes with the job!). The rain soon passed and they took the opportunity to escape the guests for a few minutes & reflect on the day.
The main room for the meal was just stunning! The detail & effort that had gone into making everything was just perfect. I loved watching the couple’s reaction as they walked into the room, seeing it all put together for the first time.
We had a surprise during the meal… Singing waiters! This was the first wedding I have done with singing waiters and they where simply amazing. The speeches had us all in laughter and tears.
The day ended with everyone having a good time on the dance floor…
