I started the day wanting to capture some cute images of my boy at home in his own surroundings. What I actually ended up doing was so much more precious, documenting our whole day, the every day tasks, the tears, the cuddles, as well as the giggles.
In my job as a photographer I aim to make everything look ‘perfect’ and ‘dream like’, so although that style is very much still reflected in these images I did find true beauty in just documenting Haze being himself, in his own environment, doing all the things he loves.
(A little disclaimer; my house does not always look like this! In fact it very rarely looks like this since Haze. But for the photos I did make an effort – I feel I should be honest and admit there’s mess out of shot in almost every photo so don’t be fooled I’ve got it all together, I’m just a mum juggling it all while having a blast with my boy)
I must admit this day goes down as one of my favourites, doing the two things I love the most… being with my boy, having so much fun together while having the best time being creative & capturing it all. As a mum & a business owner, not all my days are like this … but boy if they where!!

We certainly don’t bake every day but when we do Haze absolutely loves to ‘help’.
Washing Hands always makes this one smile… Which is handy seen as he was born in the pandemic, we’ve had lots of practice.
